"Great location, but hotel not maintained well. There was a sewerage smell coming up through drains in the bathroom. If you want extra towels they charge you. They have a pool but don’t provide towels for it. The front desk staff was a bit rude at times. Good you can park there though."

"Stunning villa with everything we needed and superb views. Everything worked and we had all we need to include a baby. The washing line needs repair. It would have been helpful to be given advice that it is quite intimidating driving up to the villa from Bagni di Lucca, and that we should only rent a very small vehicle. The Australians and Americans in our group really struggled with the road and the access to the villa itself. "

"Nice property in an amazing setting. The Villa is in a great spot with fabulous views from the terrace. The interior is very traditional, but with all the amenities you would need. The pool is lovely and much needed in the heat of summer. Given the location you will need a car as not much within walking distance although lots of lovely restaurants in Bagni and a good sized supermarket. The Villa Rosa team couldn’t have been more helpful - from directions, to local recommendations, they were great. Only downside and outside of owners control was we were woken up by barking dogs on a number of occasions early in the morning from the houses nearby. Also bring bug spray if you visit in the summer! Overall a great stay and would recommend "

"I recently stayed at this lovely agriturismo and had a wonderfully relaxing time. The place is quiet and peaceful, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle. It’s not modern, but if you appreciate rustic charm, it’s exactly what you’re looking for. The views are absolutely outstanding, surrounded by nature, making it a great spot for nature lovers. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was simple, homey, and very reasonably priced, which added to the overall charm of the place. There are a couple of things to note, though, to manage expectations. First, they offer electric car charging for a flat rate of 20€, but it uses a standard 220V socket, which means charging is very slow and, in my opinion, not worth the price. If you’re traveling with an electric car, this could be a disappointment. Also, while it’s wonderful that the agriturismo is pet-friendly, there were two dogs (belonging to the owners, I assume) roaming the property. While they were very friendly to people, unfortunately, they became aggressive towards my dog. It was a scary situation, and I had to step in to protect my dog, which was unsettling. Despite these minor issues, I still had a great stay and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat with great food and friendly staff."
