"We booked the 2 bedroom waterfront room which was spacious for our family of 4 and had 2 bathroom. The kids had their own twin beds and the adults room had a king bed. The property has 3 pools, an infinity pool, a toddler pool which both were unheated. There was a smaller heated pool. The hotel restaurant has semi limited selection and is reasonably priced. "A very nice hotel in Angra. Valet parking was a real plus. Breakfast options were plentiful, and the topmost floor had a lot of space to hang out or work. The area offered a wide variety of dining options within walking distance. Despite the name Angra Beach Hotel, it is not located by the beach, but it offers a free daily pass to a very nice beach in the Ilha da Jipoia. I will stay at this hotel again if I am ever back in Angra."

"There were a few parts of the room that needed maintenance such as the curtains. The bed is very firm, so uncomfortable for me. The air condition worked fine, but it only worked in the bedroom. There was none in the bathroom. The bathroom had everything that you needed, I do wish that more toiletries were available (I.e. q-tips, cotton swabs, soap, beach towel, etc.). The hot water and water pressure was wonderful!"

"We had a nice stay here. It was quite basic but the staff were pleasant, location was good, and breakfast was fine. The room did get quite hot so we had both the aircon and the fan on through the night, both of which were quite noisy. But we were perfectly happy here otherwise. "
