"Our room was near the pools and lagoon which meant easy access. There were lots of free activities offered, some of which were in the large outdoor pool if you wanted to join in. The staff were very friendly, helpful and seemed to be happy to be working at the Marriott no matter what they were doing...and had beautiful singing voices which we often heard if a celebration was held or a person was leaving. The breakfast offered a large, varied selection of food for all nationalities to choose from was an enjoyable start to the day, The downside to our stay was that we really enjoyed our time in a beautiful setting but the cost meant we wouldn't be able to return for a while."

"Room was amazing , staff were amazing, food was amazing . We stand vibes were amazing , I think there should be a live band more each night , it helps with atmosphere. The beach outside the hotel isn’t a white sandy beach with crystal clear water it’s black sand and black water so that was a bit disappointing, but you just go on day trips to the outer islands for that fix . Also with having shutters with insect screens and no windows , I was woken up early by loud noises - rubbish trucks , beeping vehicles and people starting there day and there’s no way to close a window to stop that noise , that was my only issue really . But not enough to put me off . I think all up it’s a 4 out of 5 for me"

"Awesome, friendly and accommodating staff. Great affordable food and drinks with a great selection of both. Good breakfast selection (continental and off the menu cooked breakfast). Lovely, well kept, established gardens with a great pool and surrounding area. A very authentic Fijian experience and would highly recommend if that's what you're after. The rooms/accommodation, whilst not 5* are very spacious and clean with air-conditioning and fans. Daily room service was impeccable. Perfect for an intimate or large celebration with a perfect function room and private outdoor area. Would definitely stay there again."
