"This motel is located in a nice area in Wildwood. There are lots of food options located within walking distance of it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming during our stay. The pool and hot tub were clean and lots of games to play by the pool. The room was clean and while it was only my gf and I it could definitely accommodate a small family."

Marquis de Lafayette Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It was beautiful we could watch the sunrise from our balcony and the sunset. The staff were very nice. The room was clean. Very cool to know we joined a guest list with the Beatles who stayed there after performing in Atlantic City. Unfortunately, no photos. The only question I have is one ply toilet paper?"
"Cape May is a beautiful area and this hotel fits right in! The front desk is welcoming as well as every employee you pass. It is like a hotel from a Hallmark movie!"
"What a cool hotel. The location was perfect - halfway between the shopping and the beach - and the atmosphere was really nice. The hotel is definitely older but in that intangible historic way. We had a small room for a quick weekend getaway and it was just perfect. It seems like they are slowly renovating throughout the hotel so I hope they don't strip away the character. The small winding hallways and the peculiar room layouts (including small closets and sinks in the bedrooms) all made the place that much more unique. I felt that I was on the set of an old movie.
The Magnolia Room is closed for the season but the King Edward Bar was really a hidden gem. The food was phenomenal (my wife is vegetarian and they had some good options) - he pimento cheese, cauliflower risotto, and roasted oysters were all excellent - but the kitchen closes early. We stopped by both nights and it looked dead but was absolutely PACKED for the late night crowd. What a fun hotel, I am definitely going to make this my base whenever I am staying in Cape May."
