"We had an excellent stay at the Sandpiper Inn! It was a last minute booking, and we were only there for a night but the room was spacious and clean as a whistle. We were on the first floor, however it was still up a flight of steps which was not a big deal. Our room was a little bright when we went to bed, even with the blinds drawn, so that would be my only complaint and that’s minor. We stayed with our toddler and in laws (the babysitters as we went out to dinner). A Sunday to Monday stay in early December was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. The gentleman at the front desk gave us a few complimentary tickets for the carousel/train ride at Congress Hall and our little one absolutely loved it. If not for the outlandish pricing in summer, we would absolutely stay here again. "
