"This is a very relaxing stay. We came to visit family and intend to stay again. They have everything you need for your stay minutes the food. We spent the vast majority of our time on the front patio relaxing in the shade. We would highly recommend the Holder House! It’s a short 3 miles trip to the boat ramp if that’s your thing and the home owners alike you to park your boat and vehicle inside of their two car garage."

"I knew it would be hard to find hotel rooms for several friends and families, including our own, in Columbia for Mizzou’s graduation so I expanded my search to nearby towns. This charming old home was PERFECT for our group. We had 7 people that arrived at different times and there was PLENTY of space for us. The neighborhood was not as nice as other neighborhoods we’ve stayed in, but it seems the town is older and there was work being done during our weekend to help improve the area. "We stayed 2 nights while in town for the state track meet. It was perfect for our needs and only cost $22 more than what a hotel would have cost for 2 queen beds. There were 5 of us and the space was perfect for our group. The house was spotless! We appreciated the snacks and water bottles. We took restaurant suggestions from the binder both nights and they were great! We ate at Las Margaritas and Walk On Bistreaux. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We and two friends stayed June 10-12 2024 and we were very pleased with everything. All amenities listed were provided and were clean and in good order. Overall inside and grounds cleanliness couldn't have been better. Plenty of parking. John our host who is very nearby but not right next to property was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful when we had a couple of questions about the area. Will be doing it again."

"Great square footage with more room than a hotel. King bed was nice and there would be plenty of room for an air mattress and a couch sleeper in the living room. Host lives above the space and had loud music playing until past midnight. Host was under the impression we were not arriving that evening and did not send us any check in communication ahead of time."

We were disappointed that it claims to sleep 10 people (we had 8) but they only have 7 bath towels and won't provide more so a couple of us had to share towels; there are no cutting boards and not a lot of dishes. There are only 4 bowls so we ate cereal out of cups. Again, it's a nice house the host was nice but definitely some basics missing if they are going to advertise it for 10 people."

"We traveled with our dogs to visit our daughter for her birthday. Appreciated the location which is close to campus and shopping and restaurants. Very large fenced yard was great for the dogs. Home was comfortable and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The only thing I would suggest is that it needed some home maintenance on a few things which we notified the host about and some extra cleaning of some areas. "We came to town to get together with friends from college and see a football game. The grounds were great and the house was very nice. It was a little away from town but super easy to get to. I’m glad we weren’t there in the winter due to the gravel driveway which has a fairly steep hill. The kitchen’s organization was strange to us but we found everything we needed"
