"What an incredible place to stay! The property was beautiful and the house had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The host was wonderful and even met as at the front of the property to take us to our location. He answered all our questions and gave us a tour. The view was amazing and the pool was right there! I would highly recommend it to others and will definitely stay there again!"

"As the saying goes: location, location, location. If you want the full Mexico City experience, this is one of the best places to stay. The hotel is right in the heart of the Historic Center, within walking distance of major landmarks such as Palacio de Bellas Artes and Palacio Nacional. A word of advice: use Uber rather than local taxis. When I asked the front desk to arrange a taxi to Palacio de Bellas Artes, the front desk quoted a fixed price of 400 pesos before even calling the driver. Very suspicious and unfortunately, it reflects badly on the staff who were very attentive. In contrast, every Uber ride we took to the same destination cost between 70–90 pesos, depending on the time of day. That discrepancy is perhaps one reason the property doesn’t quite reach five-star standards. That said, the location and the building itself more than make up for it. The architecture is truly one of a kind, staying here feels like being part of Mexico City’s living history."

"The check in staff were very very friendly to me. The concierge and night time lobby attendants were a bit stand offish and rude to me. I asked the concierge if he had a bottle of water for guests and he said he didnt have any when asked where I could get a bottle of water he said I dont know not here in a very rude way. The hotel is outdated and can definitely do with some remodeling and updating. My hotel room window was left opened when I checked in and thought that was strange. The hinges on the window very damaged one of them was almost coming off. I had to register my friend who was visiting me and not spending the night which I thought was strange. I'd never have that happened to me before with any friend I was coming up to my room with. The nighttime desk attendants and night time lobby attendants were especially rude and unhelpful with my questions during that time. Completely opposite of how helpful the front desk was when I checked in. The hotel is probably in the best location in the city. At least in my opinion. Other than that it was an okay stay but if I come back to CDMX I want to stay at a newer hotel. At this price point it would be worth it to me."
