"As others have said, it's not a five-star resort. We had misgivings when we arrived. But, we ended up liking the house better than a hotel. My friend and I stayed in the smaller two bedroom house. It was quite comfortable with air conditioning in both bedrooms, comfortable seating, and a well equipped kitchen. The property is private (but right off Rte 1) and the bird song was incredible. "We had an amazing experience staying in the casita. Clayanna was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The sounds from the jungle during the night were very soothing, and being away from all the city was a plus. But meeting Pepe was the highlight of our stay. "There was nothing in common with the pictures they show and the reality. It was dirty,the water was cold no preasure,toilet sit broken,not enough blankets,very cold during the night,super over priced,far away from the city and very broken road to the ranch. "The location at the top of the hill has amazing views of the Central Valley. The accommodations are basic but a welcome bottle of wine, snacks, butter and milk for coffee are nice touches. However, there is no air conditioning and the windows face due east. In the morning, that means bright sun directly into the sleeping space. "Rosa is the grandmother and would cook specific off the menu meals for us. She noticed we arrived late and knew we would be hungry. We felt taken care of fully with last minute transport requests and food. The space is absolutely lovely and spending time on the porch was magical watching Tucans fly and listening to the jungle sounds.
