"Riu Palace is a very nice resort. I like the fact that it is the perfect size, so you don't have to walk so far to the pool and restaurants. There was a nice selection of food in the buffet and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The food in the buffet was very good; however, being a dessert person, the desserts had very little taste. The pools are large and not crowded. They are very cold in the morning, but warm up around 1. The swim-up bar is separate from the large pool and is about 4ft. The resort beds are comfortable, though I wish they would have had a thin blanket in the room for those of us who get chilly at night. The bathrooms are a nice size for two. The furniture is getting old, and the pull-out twin sofa needs to be replaced. It hurts to sit on it for very long."

"From the time we arrived the hotel staff seemed very unwilling to take make you feel welcome, front desk seems to be more interested in coworkers conversation and her cell phone rather than accommodating the guests arriving. Same attitude was expressed throughout the hotel. As far as the hotel location was great."
