"Great cottage for a short break, ideal for couples. Bill and Vicky are very friendly and helpful. Message for Bill - thanks for the delicious plums! On a location note, I think like a lot of people, our experience of Wiltshire is limited to stop-start motoring on the A303 past Stonehenge and the wheat fields, going West. Its countryside and villages are worth exploring as much as the more familiar counties and it's a much shorter drive from London."

"Wonderful pub, full of character in very peaceful setting. Lovely bright room looking out on the garden and you can hear the sound of the birds. Good well-appointed en-suite with easy to use shower. Only 26 minutes drive to Stonehenge!"

"The property was ideally situated for the local shops. Everything we needed was contained within the property and we were extremely comfortable. The parking was a bit tricky but once used to it or was fine. There is scaffolding on the next door building which was the main cause. There was no Internet but I have my own provider so it didn't impact on me, however the pub has wifi next door and upstairs you can pick up the boots wifi!"
