"Beautiful, cosy 14th century inn with rooms. Picture postcard perfect and in a great location for walks and a short drive to Tisbury High Street.
Food in the pub was excellent as was choice of drinks.

"This was our fourth stay at the cottage and the one thing I can say that we really like is consistency. It is always clean, welcoming and a bit of an oasis in the centre of Shaftesbury. We had a rental car and use of a parking space cannot be overstated in the town. The cottage is cozy and everything works! Its location is also great for the various restaurants and walks around town.There are a couple of new eateries that we tried since our last visit in November 2023. The Kings Arms has opened as a gastro pub and was very good. Although around for many years, we also had a very enjoyable meal with friends at the Italian San Tonino, especially interesting if you like going through a graveyard to get to a restaurant! We also visit Aroma at least once every trip.Thanks for Nicky for her hospitality and we are already looking forward to our next visit, hopefully in 2026. "
