"I booked my room for Tuesday through Saturday. When I got to the hotel I had to call out for help because no one was at the desk and there was no bell. I had to show the clerk my reservation email because she didn't have record of my booking. The hotel advertises an indoor pool (which was closed for repair) and breakfast each morning (which wasn't served). After checking in I headed up to my room. The stairwell and hallway floors were disgusting. Trash everywhere and it didn't look like the carpets had been cleaned in a while. When I got to my room I only had two pillows, two towels and no toilet paper. I went back down to the desk and the clerk gave me additional items and toilet paper. After my first night I went out to sightsee. When I returned to the hotel my key card didn't work so I went to the front desk where I was told that I should have checked out that morning. Again I showed my booking confirmation and the issue was corrected. I got up to my room and my belongings were thankfully still in the room. During my stay, housekeeping did not clean my room or replace linens once. I had to swap out dirty towels with the front desk. The only saving grace about my stay was the cost of the booking and the helpful front desk staff I dealt with."

"What a wonderful experience in every possible way. We were in town visiting our daughter. The location is very central easy to get around. The Market Fresh is just around the corner! The house is gorgeous and it felt like home. This is a larger house and we had family traveling with us, so the family room was perfect. The sofa and chairs are down and you can sink in and relax! The sunroom was a perfect fit for morning coffee and conversation. The primary bedroom is gracious and lovely with a super comfy mattress!!! The primary overlooks the back yard and everything was in bloom! The grounds are as lovely as the house. Steven the host, communicated with me to perfection. Everything went perfectly! Don’t miss this one!!! It feels like home!!! "

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Pastel Cottage. The listing was accurate and I felt comfortable there, which is saying a lot for me in Memphis. We were able to travel to Mud Island easily so we could visit relatives there. There were lots of little touches which made our stay more enjoyable: a coffee bar with needed supplies and snacks, easy instructions for using Alexa, nice bath mats, and plenty of items like hangers towels, and tissue. The home was clean and spacious. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Some helpful tips for travelers. If you are a light sleeper, bring a white noise machine or use the free app on your phone or you will hear the highway traffic. This is an older home so there aren’t outlets in the bathroom. There is an extension cord in the bedroom near a full length mirror that is great for use with hair appliances. It was an easy convenient option. All in all, this was a great place to spend a few days. "

"This was a great place for our group of 13. While the kitchen is a bit small and sparse for a house of this size, there's plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone's comfort and the game room (garage) and pool/hot tub were hits. The hosts were very responsive to our requests and general communication. If we return to Memphis, we'd definitely look to rent this house again! "

"The house was beautiful. Our gps failed us but it was no fault of the home, but it was perfect for our girls trip. We were all taking pics for inspo in our own homes. The primary bedroom was HUGE!!! We loved the back porch with the swing and ceiling fan. Our only regret was having to leave and come back home so soon, if ever in Memphis we’d absolutely book again! "
