"Front desk staff members were generally attentive and friendly. Breakfast buffet had great selection—make sure to scan the QR code for customized freshly cooked egg options. Service was quite good as well. Location is quite central. Our stay was almost perfect but we were disappointed with our suite as it was not as pictured on the Expedia app, which was more modern looking and had better layout. The one we had was dated and had no separate space between the bed area and the living area. Front desk tried to remedy it but they were fully booked throughout our 3 nights stay. They gave us a complimentary prosecco after we expressed our disappointment as this was the first 5-star hotel we stayed in Europe, wherein the suite pictured on the website (in this case via Expedia app) did not match the actual room. We advised the front desk about this disconnect and to update their pictures on Expedia to include their dated rooms as we suspect the hotel was going through their renovation in stages. We just happened to be assigned the older suite. "

"Room was clean and the house keeping was pretty good, the only one thing need to improve would be the front desk, when I checked in, no information was given to me, I had to ask for every thing, ie. is there a pool, where is it. "

"The breakfast was very good with a large selection of food. Staff friendly. The main problem with my room was that it was on the 1st floor and faced the main road. The neon lights from the buildings shone into the room all night. The curtains do not provide a black out so the room was light all night. Fridge was noisy and air conditioning did not cool the room substantially. I would use the hotel again but in a different room. "

"Broken electrical components in my room. Dangerous!!!! No working A/C or heating. Water either too hot scalding or too cold, inconsistent and annoying to take a shower. Never again!"

"The Adlon Kempinski hotel is exquisite. Its location can’t be beat. The Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag are literally right outside the hotel. Our room was well furnished and it had everything that we needed. The decor in our room was just as beautiful as the rest of the hotel. We had an amazing breakfast upstairs with a beautiful view of the American Embassy and the Brandenburg Gate. The staff is what makes this hotel superb from the doormen, the receptionist, concierge, housekeeping, bartenders, and the lady-in-red. We stayed there for five days and we didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to visit the Adlon Kempinski again. "
