Very convenient for catching National Express coach to Heathrow. Pleasant staff who made it easy to get where we needed to. Good restaurant with excellent service and good food.

It was okay. Room was spacious. TV was large. Amenities were adequate

We stayed here for a wedding. The property is beautiful and steeped in history but there is little to do close by other than play golf. We generally enjoy a nice view from our room and a balcony. The room we were in had high windows, so our only view was of the sky. However, I am sure that not all rooms were the same and if you are out all day playing golf, it will not be important to you. The restaurants were great and so was the pool.

Very helpful pleasant staff

Staff not very helpful with parking, as an international guest downloading an app for parking was impossible and the directions to the 2 car parks were so robotic and I couldn’t follow them. I booked a room with a sea view, when booking in I was told I had a good room with a sea view but the room had scaffolding out the window ruined the view and the room was very tired and old, luckily I only stayed one night.

Brilliant location and great facility

The property is beautifully decorated and our room very comfortable. Walking around the grounds was easy and it was very pretty along the lake side. It does front on to the racecourse which was a surprise but we wanted to be outside the main town so it suited us well. Breakfast and dinner were very nice but a little bit pricey. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help with enquiries.

Enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. The only downside was that it was very difficult finding the car park.
