"6 of us spent 2 wonderful days hiking in and around Gimmelwald, including the cable car to the Schlithorn. The town was much more quaint than Murren and had amazing views from our deck. We stopped at the store in Lauterbrautten to get groceries and created our own breakfasts and packed lunches."

"I did not realize this flat was in the mountains! I just saw that it had enough space for 6. The location was an added bonus! Spectacular views! And the house itself was incredible! So spacious and relaxing. "

"The host Monika Mai was sooo incredibly nice! We arrived later than expected at 1:00 AM and had gotten lost. Monika Mai came and found us and led us to the house. She was so kind and welcoming. At the end of our stay she even helped us out and printed our flight confirmations for us! Excellent hostess who went above and beyond! The house is clean with an updated bathroom. It has beautiful views and is a short drive into town. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!"

"Gemütlich ist etwas anderes, die Zimmer sehr groß und es steht nichts an Möbeln drinne. Etwas Stoff für ein gemütliches Flair, Fehlanzeige. Dusche in der Badewanne, für Ältere gefährlich und der Zeit in keinster Weise entsprechend. Zimmer konnten zum Teil nicht verdunkelt werden um ein Aufheizen zu vermeiden. Beim Lüften sitzt man ständig im Zug. Lüfter zur Klimatisierung sind nicht zur Verfügung gestellt worden (über 30 Grad eine Woche lang). Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet bis auf das die...

"Voici un gîte que je recommande. Très pratique, dans une commune avec des commerces et une gare. Les alentours sont magnifiques sans être touchés par le sur-tourisme. Je me suis régalé sur mon vélo ! J'ai été très bien reçu. Le gîte est situé dans un coin très tranquille, au bord d'une route en impasse et très peu fréquentée."
