"The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable."

"Very friendly check in staff. Property was clean with many dining options nearby. Rooms were also tidy but with visibility aged and worn furniture. Not at all a problem for a single night stay. The only thing that really brings down my review for this place is the DESK CHAIR! Completely worn and ripped in many places. Appeared dirty as well. I just pushed it off to the side and avoided putting anything on it. Just replacing a chair would definitely bring up reviews"

"I think this hotel was "average"...a 3.5. I graded it a little lower because the room had a bit of a sweaty clothes smell and the bathroom countertop was tiny. We opened the window for a bit (the temp was in the mid 60s outside) &, after, ran the AC. However, when we returned from dinner, the slight smell was still there. The breakfast was good & included scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits, gravy, bread, bagels, waffles, cereal, yogurt, juice, muffins & fruit. The desk staff was kind & helpful. We had dinner at El Bandido, after a recommendation from the desk agent. The food was good & the prices were very reasonable. The location of this hotel was in close proximity to some of the hiking & sightseeing we were doing."

"Me and my fiance pulled off here for the night to rest our heads and the staff was so sweet and accommodating and very helpful for traveling in the future I wish that we were staying in West Virginia longer because this was a wonderful place to see the lake. There's a restaurant on the premise as well as a wonderful patio. Definitely would recommend this place to anybody traveling!"
