"Love the rooms. I like space and having the sitting room is great. The room was very clean. The breakfast was nice to have with plenty of choices. Coffee was good. The things that I wasn't impressed with 1, happy hour---snacks could improve. 2. we left our room atnoon to go to a wedding and when we returned no one had cleaned our room. I don't care too much about that when only staying 2 nights, but could have used 2 clean wash cloths 3. requested an extra blanket. Took 4 tries,2 in the morning, 2 same night. Once I went down to the desk the person was really rude. 4. They have a huge parking lot and still have to pay a nightly fee. 5. I felt the restraunt food was good but quite over priced. The waiter never asked us if we wanted drinks, we had to ask. And never came back to see if everything was ok Could be staffing issues at this location. In general I really like Embassy Suites. Perhaps this one was having a bad weekend. I still recommend them."

"This hotel is small, it te rooms are quite nice, clean, with ceiling fans and AC. ‘Breakfast’ is pretty minimal, mostly with packaged pastries. They only serve regular coffee, no decaf coffee. It’s enough to get you on the road until you get some breakfast."

"It was a lovely stay. Great hosts. I’m not sure that the listing is entirely clear…it is an 2nd floor apartment created within the historic Edwardian home. The unit was modern, spacious, comfortable, and clean. There is one closed bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen/living area where there is a lofted twin bed. The owners are in the process of making improvements (new locked gate, window repairs needed), so if you’re ok with using AC and not windows, the stay is comfortable. The outside of the home could use some clean-up (stored cars and other items). However, that did not entirely take away from the experience, and I know the owners (also busy parents of 4!) intend to address that. Perks: beautiful view of San Rafael and the inner bay, nice shower and amenities, bidet, great kitchen to cook in! Good value…would stay again!"

"We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time here.One thing I would mention is not to be discouraged by the entrance. Access is through the garage, which has a damp smell, and then through the laundry room, which has an outdated 1980s-style décor. The first impression doesn’t reflect the actual accommodation.Once you step into the living area, everything is exactly as shown in the photos. The home is clean, well maintained, and the beds are incredibly comfortable.The deck overlooking the water is a real highlight. It’s the perfect place to relax, do some yoga, or enjoy a drink while taking in the view.The hosts are very thoughtful and regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated.We would definitely stay here again."

"This property was beautiful and exactly what our family needed for a weekend getaway. Timothy really thought of everything in all the perks of this rental, including a coffee bar that impressed my barista daughter. Kayaking down the canal was so much fun and I appreciated the step by step instructions since it was my first time. Everything was clean and comfortable and entertaining for our multi-generational party. My dad loved listening to the old records on the record player…another perk!Timothy was very communicative and answered any questions we had quickly and thoroughly. He was an excellent host and house was everything we hoped for."
