"Clean room. Room didn’t smell bad. Air conditioning was working well and wasn’t loud. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Coffee and water was in the room for free. Staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"This was a good hotel for two nights prior to a cruise. They allow guests to park in their lot throughout the cruise with no additional cost, which is nice. The hotel is definitely a vintage traditional motel from back in the day, so there is wear and tear. Thankfully the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. We were also in a beach-facing room which was nice. Note: they do not automatically have hairdryers in the room (I definitely panicked a little at first). When I called the office there said you have to request it. Thankfully that was a quick fix. Also, no iron or ironing board. We were able to borrow an iron, but still no ironing board. It was a good hotel for convenience to the beach and it has a nice pool with bar and restaurant, but I don’t know that I’d stay again due to location…I liked the downtown area a little better and will stay there next time. We did not eat the breakfast, so I can’t rate that. "

"We stayed the night before our cruise embarkation. Best decision was to stay at this location, leave car on lot (additional fee), get transportation to cruise port (additional fee-one way or round trip). I will always pick this location when in the galveston area again. I highly recommend. "

"Our Stay at Comfort Inn & Suites was a stay over until we went on our Royal Caribbean Cruise 🛳 the very next day. The place was spell like loud bleach spell. Also, the lady was very Kind that checked us in. The room was unacceptable, but we stayed because we needed to lay our heads somewhere. No face towels, mold around bathtub, make sure you sheets and clean too. Ask for clean towells if necessary. There was small dust piles behind bathroom door and new bathroom door and ask them vacuumthe floors too... SMH. It just didn't feel clean and comfortable like I am use to. I would say only if you have to stay here. It's very near the Galveston Beach and Boardwalk."

"The Cottage was clean and cozy. The AC worked well and the fans in the rooms and living room. Kitchen was a good size, great stove and plenty of dishware, utensils and pots and pans and nice quality as well. The washer and dryer was a plus being by the beach and after a week's stay. Neighborhood was not noisy and close to not only the beach but stores and restaurants. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will return for another visit. Thank you. "
