"Our family stayed here for a full week. It was just as described. We spent many hours walking in the woods, sitting outside and watching the wildlife. We were able to communicate with the owner whenever we needed, and they were prompt to respond. Check-in and out were simple and quick. We really enjoyed our time away from it all. The only con of the visit---the fish were not biting ;) We would recommend this place for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and just enjoy nature....

Home was extremely clean and felt fresh as soon as you walked through the doors. Outstanding amenities in the house to allow for full bbq dinners and taco nights inside or outside on the back porch. This house at Keg Creek is jumping up to the top of list, and every member of the family agrees. You can tell the owners are thoughtful hosts, with helpful signage and no guesswork; even an “in case you forget” supply basket. "Condo had a great lakeview so you could sit in the rockers on the back deck and enjoy the view. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed, I was very impressed at how well the kitchen was equipped. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. We saw several deer while riding around which was fun. We are not golfers but if you are the course is beautiful. I will come back when I am in the area. Overall we loved it."

We ate a yummy meal at El Sombrero in Lincolnton. We also drove through the two nearby State Parks-they were really pretty as well. When we are in the area again next year, we hope and plan to stay in the townhome again."
