"The room was okay. This was a remodel of an older hotel. The lobby was nice, the exterior was nice, but the room had been smoked in the past, and once that is baked into the walls and carpets, it never comes out. I can always tell because I’m very sensitive to cigarette smoke. The caulk job in the bathroom left some to be desired. The check-in gent was very kind and efficient. Parking costs 17 pounds for a night and there’s plenty of it. Breakfast was pretty typical of the Hilton genre, which is solid."

"We will never stay at this hotel ever again. Despite it being £140 it was terrible. When we entered the room there was a strong and overpowering stink of bleach. When you flushed the toilet there was a disgusting sewage smell. We had to try and sleep with the window open ALL NIGHT. We never bothered to have a shower in the morning for fear that the drains would stink again. I’ve been a gold member for probably 20 years and this is by far the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. YOUR COMPANY SHOULD NOT ALLOW PEOPLE TO BOOK THIS ON YOUR WEBSITE BECAUSE THIS REFLECTS VERY BADLY ON YOU!!"

"Visited for a work trip at the NEC. Convenient walking distance to the NEC and resorts world. Restaurants, breakfast and gym and spa were lovely and clean and the rooms were nice too. Nothing bad to say really! Would stay again!"

"Hotel is very convenient, 15 minute train journey to the centre of Birmingham, and right on the doorstep of the airport. I had food in their sister hotel next door (Novotel) and it was really good. Room was spacious and had everything needed for a short stay. Staff were very welcoming. Well done !!"
