"We didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on food. Staff pleasant, clean and comfortable room. Good central location, 10 min walk from market place, tram stop close by. My only negative is the strong smell of food throughout the hotel including corridors outside room due to a restaurant being attached and it wasn’t pleasant depending on what they were cooking. "

"The location of Hotel Engel is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We had a lot of help from a member of staff on arrival. However I was surprised at how unhelpful the member of staff on for breakfast was. A few people found the hot beverage system complicated and the staff member just watched people struggle while other guests were trying to help.
