"It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use."

"This amazing cabin more than lived up to our expectations!! My family enjoyed blueberry picking, foraging for mushrooms, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, swimming, incredible sunsets, campfires, listening to the loons and just being together in nature. Our two weeks spent at the cabin were incredible. Barbara (the owner) and Mark (the caretaker) were very attentive to all our questions. We look forward to coming back!!"

"My husband dog and I, very much enjoyed the camp. So peaceful. We ended up getting up there later than planned. John waited for us. He was so kind and helpful. My car ended up having issues and needed to be fixed. I texted John. He sent me to a garage in Lincoln. They were so nice. The lake is clean and clear. So beautiful. I enjoyed fishing while my husband relaxed in the lake. John also told us about some good fishing and walking places. The camp has all you need for cooking and eating....

"My stay was lovely. The cabin was peaceful and had all we needed to enjoy our time there. Despite the downsides, I'd totally book again. The location was private. The pond was calm with few boats. Loved having the porch swings, picnic table, and outdoor hearth. Walmart & hannaford were 15 minutes away to get the forgotten odds and ends. I had excellent phone service. "Well this was a surprise. We arrived later in the evening and the cabins were kind enough to call and let us know how to access the cabins. When we got there it was very dire, however. it is possible most of the tenants are AT hikers and don't care about accommodations, but that isn't us. It was the first time i 5 years my husband wanted to leave right away and find another place to leave. The bath sink was held up by a radiator due to someone having pulled it off the wall. Spiders and cobwebs...
