"Lovely room (the Oak room) with all you could need including complimentary toiletries. Only niggle the Ariel cable connection not good making watching tv impossible, but this didn’t spoil our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. "

"The room was clean evening meal was very good the breakfast could do with improvement maybe a coffee machine not filter coffee which was not very warm but the staff are very polite and very helpful "

"Dog friendly and in good location. Very handy for one night stopover and would use again. Room could do with a bit of deep cleaning/ maintenence in some places, particularly mould around bathroom window frame. "

"Breakfast was very good but more choices would have been nice. Egs. Cerials Room was spotless and bed was very comfortable Staff very friendly and helpful Locating property was hard. A bigger sign on main gate would be helpful "

"Room was clean but dated and could do with a refresh. Evening meal was excellent, I had the steak & Malbec pie and it is one of the best pies I have ever eaten. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, there were two of us and one wanted black pudding and one didn’t but neither got any, nor did we get the fried bread, there were only two juices available, orange and apple (I think) but the orange juice ran out and not replenished although there were staff around. You could have tea or coffee by request but only one latte or cappuccino, there were no cereals, fruit or danish etc which you would expect from a hotel chain such as this (Marstons). However the staff, especially at dinner, were absolutely fantastic, always on hand to help and not too overbearing with the usual ‘is your meal ok’ type scenario. They are a credit to the company. The reason for the 3 stars is the room needing updating and the breakfast."
