"Rooms had no towels or drinking water when we arrived at this local Swahili-style accommodation. When given bathroom towels we were told to use the same towels for the beach. That night we kindly enquired if they would prepare a whole fish for us if we were to buy from the beach and we were rudely told no. By sea view, I thought it was closer to the beach, but was a few minutes walk through the village - was glad the property owners advised us to bring a flashlight because it was certainly needed at night.
