Exceptional service and responsiveness; Khadijah at the front desk in the Riu Class section took care of us for the whole week. We enjoyed all of the select restaurants, and even ventured to Stone Town. It was my wife’s birthday present, and boy was she overjoyed. We will definitely be back.

Friendly and efficient staff providing excellent and responsive service. The property is beautiful with amazing ocean views and beautiful sandy beach readily accessible! Room was lovely- air conditioned, quiet and clean, with great water pressure in the shower, fully stocked mini bar. Amazing hotel to stay. Being an avid traveller, I can say this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed. The food is exceptional in quality and quantity. The staff are very friendly and cater to all needs. Such a lovely place to be to relax and enjoy the all-inclusive vibes. All staff are smiling and show so much care towards you. We were specially looked after by Abdallah who mostly works in Ginger bar and also Ibrahim who works in the restaurant. They looked after us so well. The resort is very large and spreads over a huge area which means it never feels crowded. There is a steep slope from the reception area to the restaurants and bars which would be a problem for less mobile people. Limited covered seating if/when it rains. Had a great stay, lot’s of sunbathing chairs, many pools, although the resort was at full capacity, it did not feel crowded. Staff are extremely polite and welcoming. Delicious food with lot’s of variety. It’s a resort to stay in the resort as there is not much around it to walk too. As soon as you go outside the premises, locals are quite insistants.

Riu Hotel never disappoints me, the staffs are just oh so awesome….. Always wanted to go above and beyond to make sure that you’re satisfied. Riu has been and will always remain my favorite all inclusive Hotel/Resort.

Great hotel. Food was amazing! Not so much party life at night in the hotel. Some karaoke but no dancing. Crowd is older more for relaxing. But the service was top notch!

The hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful. The beach is gorgeous and the security keeps the vendors away from the sun loungers. The bar tenders were fabulous and so friendly. The promenade wait staff was a tad inattentive and it took multiple asks to finally get water or beverages with meals. Food was good. Overall had a wonderful 4 days at the Riu.

The staff was overly friendly, very accommodating and kind. I really enjoyed the staff there. The amenities were great. The performances were awesome. Jambo was also a nice get away. I love the access to both resorts.

The beds & pillows were terrible. 2 single beds stuck to each other which shake as you move. No grip whatsoever on the floor.. pillows were hard as rock too. Hotel service & meals were fantastic. Beach was amazing as well.
