"The photos of the condo we accurate. The surfaces (aside from the showers) and the bedding and towels were all clean, which is appreciated. The amount of towels provided for 4 people for a 1 week stay was minimal and we had to re-wash several times. When we entered the condo, there was a musty smell. It was very noticeable at check-in. I would recommend having that checked and/or treated. The main bathtub probably had some kind of non-skid previously that had been removed so the surface of the tub had black markings on it. The balcony was not very clean, it had a lot of cobwebs and bugs. The furniture was the same. I know it's outside but maybe housekeeping could pay a little more attention. Also, this is probably more building maintenance than condo owner but, the windows that faced the beach were so dirty on the outside that it impaired the view. Having the beach items available in the storage room was a nice plus. We used the umbrella and two of the beach chairs every day.Overall, we love the location being close enough to St. Augustine to drive in but still being on a more secluded (during our stay) area of the beach. Would have given 5 stars if the areas above had a little more attention to detail, especially for the price."

"The ocean view is incredible. The ocean is very close which we really enjoyed. The host also left us some local coffee, and I appreciated that little touch. While we found some hairs in the sheets and tubs, the unit smelled and generally looked freshly cleaned when we arrived. It is worth noting because I must've missed it in the listing, but this unit is on the second floor and there is not an elevator.Definitely have some maintenance items to address. For instance, the dishwasher is not screwed in place, so it fell forward at times while loading. The refrigerator has a lot of condensation resulting in dripping/icing, even with adjusting the temperature. The seal/frame on the sliding door and master window are clearly failing and needs replacement soon. Further, the sliding door is so oxidized, it's very difficult to lock if you're able. The clothing washer seems to be off balance because even small loads result in the washer drum banging around. Lastly, there is visible mold on the ceiling around the half bathroom vent. None of which were inconvenient enough to have someone come out to address while we were staying there but are all worth looking into."

"This condo was beautiful and clean! It was steps to the beach and pool for very easy access with our 2yr old grandson! Our host was awesome on communication and response time! We also appreciated the free admission tickets to some of the attractions in St. Augustine. We will definitely go back and stay in this sane condo! It was perfect for us!"

"Our group (10 adults) has rented a vacation home every year for the last 20 years, this was by far the most beautiful, well appointed, clean, spacious, and well kept rental we have ever vacationed at. The house is huge and truly stunning; the descriptions on VRBO are exact. Even though all bedrooms were beautiful, the master suite is something out of a magazine. The kitchen had just about everything we needed to cook including two refrigerators, two toasters, two different types of coffee makers, slow cooker, a large blender, pots/pans/dishes/utensils and many spices. Many items that one usually needs to bring were included in the house: hand soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, and beach towels. The lower level has entertainment options like ping pong, shuffle board, board games, books, and a television which were great during the afternoon rain. It also contains a cooler fridge. The rooftop was a great place to watch the ocean, stars, sun rise/set, the thunderheads roll in, or a space launch. The location is residential and very quiet but close enough to everything we needed. The beach is across the street but easily accessible and not crowded. If you are looking for luxury, this is it."
