Beautiful Oceanfront Penthouse ~ Incredible Views ~ Pool

"We’ve been visiting Summer Haven for 21 years. Our normal place wasn’t available so we decided to try the “Beachfront Penthouse” condo. It is an older model as pictured, but very clean, kitchen decently stocked, quiet , and comfortable. The porch provides shade while enjoying the beautiful views. The pool was clean and an added bonus since it’s not something we usually have on our visits. The only down side for us was the 200 pet fee and our beach access from the condo was temporary blocked. We are accustomed to paying a fee and understanding the need; however, it was less expensive for us to pay our sitter! As far as the direct beach access, it was blocked due to stairs needing repairs; however this did not affect us too much. We simply walked around the building. We stayed for 3nights,4days.We would consider staying here again. "

"The property was in the most tranquil, peaceful location could not have been any better - just one house away from the steps to the beach with the largest sand dunes and coquina shell sand- purely, pristine and perfect to us. This property is perfect for families looking for complete relaxation and peace. Our dogs loved walking on the beach on the leash and very few people around. The stairs are kind of steep so the dogs got more exercise than usual, but the elevator was super handy and worked perfectly.. the Home came with everything we needed. We actually brought too much because they did have chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, etc. the kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. We would definitely be back and rebook this home. We absolutely loved it."

"What a great place, and nicer than other places we’ve stayed! Everything was very clean and consistent with the description online. I love the grassy back lawn right on the ocean it’s like the best of both worlds! We used the bikes to ride through a state park across the street and also had nice walks exploring the beach with my dog Luke. It was very convenient to be able to use the dog crate on the property. Our host Brian communicated well and was prompt with responses! We felt very comfortable and welcomed…I would / will definitely stay here again! B&H"

"The property was great, we had 10 people in our stay and the house and grounds was plenty big enough, never ran out of hot water with everyone taking showers some at the same times Super close and easy access to the beach along with plenty of of chairs and umbrellas to use! We stayed in late April and opted to use the heat for pool and spa, which was a good choice as it did get a little chilly/windy a few of the evenings. Highly recommend this place and Alina the property manager I was in contact with was very friendly, extremely responsive and seemed genuinely concerned that our stay be pleasant and enjoyable. Which it absolutely was!"

"We loved our stay at Sea Horse Haven! It was so close to Matanzas Inlet and the beach and we walked to both every day. It was also VERY pet-friendly - we could let the dogs run free outside without having to worry about them at all since the entire property is double-gated. Decor was adorable, and house had everything we needed. Short easy drive to both the great restaurants and entertainment of St. Augustine as well as shopping and beaches in the Hammock areas south of the rental. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a wonderful stay here and the house was beautiful. There is an ocean view from the upper balconies. Our only negative was the shower pressure in all bathrooms…I ended up having to take a bath to wash sand off of me."

"The house itself was fine. A few things that would have made it better. The lawn crew came during the stay on a Saturday. This should be scheduled in between guests. There was zero hand soap. Only bars by the showers. One trash bag for an entire weekend dint work. Overall had to supply many things I don’t typically have to provide during stays. The use of the pool would be easier if the notes could be read. The ink has faded. "
