"Weve stayed here before, enroute to visit family in Maryland. The cabins are very amply large, with modern ammenities. The beds were comfy, eating area was clean and spacious, with even a well thought out large front porch, with a rocking chair to enjoy the serenity of the distant mountains. We'll be back!"

We incorrectly assumed it was the owners' and that the garbage dumpster near the road was the one we were to use for our garbage. "If you’re looking for a quiet peaceful cabin to just go get lost in the world of your significant other, this is the place to go! They’re far enough from the everyday life but still close enough to enjoy all the beauty of their charming city!! The food is to die for and definitely a reason for us to return!! Nothing bad to say at all except they need larger hot water tanks bc when I’m enjoying my wife that includes sharing a shower that we would have preferred not to be rushed out of!! Otherwise...

"This is a phenomenal mountain chalet. The owner/property manager is very responsive. The house is beautiful, well-equipped, and well maintained. We stayed warm, comfortable and entertained while a winter storm with sub-zero temps hit during our stay. The location has beautiful mountain views and feels remote, but is only a few minutes from Wisp and McHenry. The house is on the tip top of the hill so you'll need 4wd or snow tires if there is snow/ice on the drive up. I loved this place and am...
