After a terrible experience with another hotel that left us without a room, we were incredibly grateful to find a place that actually cared about its customers. The staff accommodated us when we needed help the most, and we truly appreciated their kindness, understanding, and willingness to work with us. Travel plans can go wrong, but the way a business treats people during a difficult situation makes all the difference. This hotel turned a stressful experience into a much more positive one simply by treating us with respect and helping us when another property had failed us. We will never forget the difference that genuine customer service made that day. It is refreshing to find people who understand that customers deserve courtesy, compassion, and respect. Thank you for accommodating us and helping turn a frustrating situation around. Authentic Log cabin with something for everyone!

"As we drove up to the property we could see its beauty. The log cabin, the pond and the surrounding area was beautiful. The inside of the cabin was very nice. The place was clean. It is a great place for a large party to stay at. When we entered the cabin and unpacked we looked outside the kitchen window and saw a large doe standing up from the pond. The next morning we saw three deer in the morning across the pond. There are 4 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. Some of the beds were very tall. One of our party could not get into the bed. The other rooms were taken which some of them had lower to the ground beds. The kitchen was well stocked for your cooking needs. It was nice having a Keurig and regular coffee pot. The one problem we had was we had some roaches in the kitchen. They were under the Keurig and the toaster and behind the counter top. I mentioned this to the owner. She said she was sorry we had encountered this problem and she hadn't had any reports before. It was on the weekend so there was nobody to contact to look at it. The list of amenities said there was soap and shampoo provided but we couldn't find any. We did not contact the owner as we brought some with us. Other than those two things everything was great. It was nice feeding the fish in the pond watching them come to the surface. We had a fire going in the fire pit. There was plenty of space in the cabin. There are games provided if you so choose."
