"Nicely appointed home on the beautiful Island . We made day trips to Miami, Fort Meyer, and Naples. Could truly relax without being surrounded by crowds or noise . A true vacation for the introvert in us"
"The staff made this trip amazing. Tom (the manager) was extremely helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. They were not busy (off season) but they still made every effort to accommodate us (ie: bagged breakfast). He gave thought to where to locate us for best security (two women) and privacy. The room was a bit dated, but you could see the efforts they made to upgrade it and keep it clean/nice. We were so happy we booked a second night when the original plan was to stay only one night and move to somewhere else for our second night in the area. We would stay here again in a second. THANK YOU for making our mother/daughter trip a good one! "

"We loved our stay at the clean, quiet and charming cottage in Goodland. The house was well equipped, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, and hope to return someday. "
"This is a somewhat difficult place to give an accurate review. We were given instructions with a code to enter our room. I attempted the code several times with no luck. I reread the instructions and the next paragraph (which I had not read) said to ignore the above instructions and go to the front desk.
The front desk had a hard time finding my reservation and when he found it, he handed me a regular old-fashioned key. I asked for a second, he told me no.
The room was straight out of the 60’s. It did have a smack kitchenet that looked fine. Everything was clean in the room and the hot water was good. The air conditioning was fine and there were plenty of towels.
Breakfast was the smallest I have ever seen. Nothing hot, not even a toaster.
The pool was large and clean and there were plenty of pickle ball courts.
The bar and dining opened at five. The menu was extensive and the dessert that they said were made in house, were exquisite. The food was equally good, apart from the escargot which was marginal.

"A WONDERFUL TRIP!
VISITED LOCAL FRIENDS AND THIS HOUSE WAS THE PERFECT LOCATION. QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD ON THE CANAL. SAW DOLPHINS GO BY LATE AFTERNOON. HOME OWNER WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH AND COMMUNICATION WAS ON KEY. HOUSE WAS GREAT SIZE AND HAD EVERYTHING WE COULD NEED. BIT OUT DATED BUT STILL WELL MAINTAINED AND CLEAN. WE USED THE GRILL ONE NIGHT AND HAD A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT ON THE PATIO. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN"
