Home away from home

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Staff was friendly. The rooms are large and well equiped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The resort is more a home away from home then a hotel.

This maybe one of the most beautiful units in the Marriott Vacation Club. The kitchen was modem and full equipmentmen. We did not use the restaurants since we ate in the unit. The beach and the pools are very nice. The sunset was incredible.

The reason communication was terrible is because the beach was contaminated and they did not warn guests of the risk. (DOH-Collier issues water quality health advisory on three Marco Island beaches; E coli at issue) The hotel has very good facilities and fun activities for children and adults. They charge $30 per night for parking, that's something new. We went in July and we didn't have to pay for

This is a beautiful place to stay. People were nice. The only thing was not happy about, is that I took a shower and went to dry off with the towel and the towel had a big stain. Sorry to say but it looked like feces and I had wiped my face with it. I was grossed out the whole day. I did complaint and they were nice, apologizing and told me that they were going to send someone to change our towels and clean the room. When we came back. It never happened, We asked them again but still nobody came to change the towels. The hotel is beautiful but service wasn't as expected.

Property is beautiful and the pools and beach were wonderful. The staff was great and very accommodating. Our room was in need of a few updates (dishwasher) and it was a handicap room so we wished the shower had at least a curtain. There was some construction going on, but overall, fantastic resort.

Very nice hotel and room! The reason for the 4-star, was because of the service at the front desk. There was a leak while the dishwasher was running that left water in the kitchen. The technician came and fixed, I then requested for someone to come out and clean the floor in that area and was told someone will be right up and no one showed to do so. Also I was told at the front desk that parking was included during my stay, which was incorrect information because I was charged. I called the front desk to mention and was told there was nothing that can be done after spending 5 days @ approximately a thousand dollars a night plus other expenses during the stay, boat tours, jet skiing, dinner, etc.

The beach was crowded with people from outside of the hotel with music so loud that we couldnt rest on the sand quiet. I suggest to take care of that specially if we are paying such a high rate for our villa- Thanks
