What a pleasant surprise to find an executive suite complete with LR KI BR and large Ba. I had booked almost a year ago and I must say I did a good job choosing this place. Great neighborhood, walk everywhere.

The property was excellent, we actually tried to cancel our Paris reservation at a different hotel to stay at a residhome and we couldn’t, we will definetly look for this chain next time we come to Europe. Things to improve: not dish soap available, toilet paper was so small it was never enough, breakfast was too expensive for what it was, other than that pretty perfect

Residhome Marseille is a lovely new & modern hotel in a quiet street in La Joliette but well situated with just a 10-15 minute walk to the old port & shops. In the opposite direction a few minutes walk takes you to Le Docks Village & Les Terrasses Du Port indoor shopping centre. The Metro, bus & tram services are all nearby with very regular service. A short bus ride takes you up to the Notre Dame De La Garde with fantastic views of the city & a lovely restaurant & the old streets of Le Panier are also nearby with lovely little shops & cafes. We were in a studio for 2 which was perfect, very clean with a big comfortable bed. The kitchen area had a fridge, microwave & two ring hob & a nice touch was complimentary tea, coffee, sugar & two bottles of water. Without exception all the staff were very efficient, friendly & helpful which made our stay very enjoyable. We had a great holiday & would highly recommend Residhome Marseille.

Very comfortable stay. Everything was clean and had all the amenities you'll ever need already in the room. If you're debating whether to stay here or the other branch at Saint Charles, I suggest paying a bit more and coming here. It's 4* vs 3* hotel but it's like heaven and hell, truly. Just the cleanliness alone, there's no competition. The air con also works here! Staff were also very professional and helpful. Decor was modern, room was spacious. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay here again if I'm ever back.

Too warm!
The room was well equipped but, while the Air Conditioning worked well, it is set to 22 degrees Celsius or 72 fahrenheit, and cannot be decreased from there. Reception confirmed that this is a building-wide policy. This is uncomfortably warm! Otherwise the hotel was great. Excellent location, loads to do.

Great spacious rooms, interior nicely decorated. The area is nice and quiet at night time as it’s away from the port. A few restaurants nearby on the front that are nice otherwise 15-20min walk to far side of the port. Staff were nice and friendly and helped book us a taxi to airport as it was an early one. Would stay again for ease, cleanliness definitely.

Vacation in Marseille
Brand new hotel. Location is quite convenient. At proximity from Marseille Cathedral. If you like to walk it is not that far from Vieux Port. Ideal for those having to take a boat to North Africa or Corsica. Breakfast is very good, thanks to the excellent product they use. Excellent cheese, choice of healthy cereal, bio product, fresh fruit juice… Room are good with sufficient space. Missing a gym.

Great stay for a long weekend.
The level and detail of communication from start to finish was excellent. The place is easy to find, very accessible for food, drinks and sightseeing. The rooms and building are clean and attractive. Having a little kitchen with washing up goods and dishwasher tablets was amazing. Reception staff were welcoming and efficient. I cannot comment on breakfast as we chose to visit local cafes. Air conditioning was not easy to manage (we didn't ask for help either) but the fan level kept us cool enough. Over all, it was a lovely stay in Marseille and in the Residhome building.

Residhome Marseilles looked new and everything was very clean, except that the carpet had a stain by the elevator that they didn't seem to be able to remove. They did clean the corridor carpet while we were there. We had interior view room which was super quiet. The people at the front desk were very helpful and spoke enough English so we could understand each other. The kitchenette was very nice and saved as money during breakfast and lunch. The street in the front was under construction to make the area nicer and walkable. That didn't give us a nice first impression when we arrived, but besides that it didn't bother us. It will look very nice when they finish in a couple of months. There are two markets, a bakery, a meat shop, a shopping mall, a beautiful basilica, a museum and many restaurants within a few blocks. We walked to the old port which had many restaurants and bars also, but it's a long and pretty walk. If you walk to the other side of the port, you will find much cheaper and nicer restaurants one street away from the port. We would return to this hotel and recommend it.

The room was nice however there were dirty dishes in the kitchen area. I am very picky when it comes to being clean which means this made the stay a little less enjoyable.

Clean and nice in good location
The hotel is close by the city center, which was important to us. The street on which the hotel is located in not the cleanest (but that's Marseille in general), but we felt safe in the area. The hotel lobby is nice and clean. The carpets in the hallways are outdated and need some washing. Our room was spacious and clean overall, so I was happy with it. The hotel parking is a little tricky to find, but definitely the cheapest option around (we parked in the nearby garage first which ended up being 40 euros for the night!) There is a nice mall nearby and a number of restaurants, if you don't feel like walking downtown. Overall, if I were to go back to Marseille, I would definitely consider this hotel.

Great place to stay in Marseille
If you want to be within 20’ walk from most attractions but have peace and quiet this is a perfect location. One bedroom suite works well for a small family as the sofa bed Is very comfortable. AC and WiFi work perfectly too. Parking and breakfast are available at additional cost but both are very convenient.
