"The location is beautiful and the house is wonderful. We stayed for two days and visited local sites. There are wineries everywhere and many tasting options. There is a local brewery with great homemade pizza an 11 minute walk - it is a place for locals and the food was great. This house is a super comfortable home base to explore the local towns. We loved it and will be back. We stayed 4 adults and 3 children very comfortably."

"Massimo was a pleasure to deal with from my first inquiry through to the end of the stay. The house is very homely and rustic with all the amenities you could need. We explored the region during our stay and were very happy with the location. The views from the property are spectacular and the veranda and outdoor space were the perfect place to relax. "Spent 4 nights at Hotel Calissano in August while doing wine tours. Chose it based on a recommendation from the tour guide and it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly at the reception, the bar, and the restaurant. It is a five minute walk to the pedestrian zone of Alba so the location is excellent and easily accessible. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station. My room was a good size and very comfortable. Despite being next to the elevator, it was very quiet. Would happily recommend Hotel Calissano and will stay there again the next time I am in Alba."
