"Nice comfy bed in a big room. There was a fan supplied (a necessity during the heatwave especially during the night). Staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfast was different every day ( I think it depended on who cooked it) but was nice - it’s just a pity ham and cheese and different fruit were not offered but as I said breakfast was nice."

"Perfect location for visit to highclere castle just off A34 spacious car park my wife and I stayed for just a night the room was very quirky wasn't sure about bathtub in bedroom but also a lovely shower was in the ensuite all amenities in room great everything clean,all the staff were friendly and very helpful food was spot on would definitely stay again"
