"This is a beautiful hotel in the old town of Split. The room was not large, but it was charming and nicely appointed. The breakfast was at a nearby restaurant and really delicious, with a nice view of the ocean. Just be aware that the hotel does not face a main road, so you have to haul your luggage up a small hill to get to the entrance--or maybe pay your driver to do it for you."

"Great hotel. It’s a short cab ride from the old town. The area around the hotel is a huge harbor and university. It’s a nice walking town. The football stadium is an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel."

"A lovely hotel. The room was clean, and we had a huge balcony with a partial sea view (between some other buildings). The staff were very helpful & friendly. Something that people with restricted mobility (such as myself) may wish to consider. The hotel is part way up a hillside and the final stretch of the road is quite steep. There is a bus stop nearby, but you still have that final bit to walk. However we used an Uber from the hotel door to/from the centre of Split. Only a few minutes drive and very cheap (we usually paid €3.95). I would definitely recommend this hotel."
