"Location is great! Room was clean and updated. The hallways could use an update as they feel worn down. Parking is 18$ a day or street parking after 5 pm up front till 8 am is free (if there is a spot). Breakfast room was full so we went to find breakfast somewhere else. Rooms aren’t very sound proof as we could hear the people above us and below. Staff were pleasant."

"Embassy Inn Hotel is very conveniently located downtown Victoria. No need for a car as everything you need is walking distance, great breakfast included, friendly and helpful staff, nice lounge couch area to relax in lobby with games and puzzles, large rooms some with kitchenette."

"A Excellent hotel to stay at, I would definitely stay here again if I come back. Rooms are roomy and clean, restaurant was top notch, I wish I stayed longer to check out the rest of the items that the hotel offered. Close to everything and was very convenient"

"We had a great stay. Only off putting was housekeeping. I felt the room wasn’t totally clean at check in. There are some dirt on the sofa bed (hair, glitter and some red dried out something) and the fridge have some pieces of food (not huge). I didn’t ask for room change because we arrived with a sleeping tiny human and I am already very grateful we were granted early check in. Housekeeping came in knocking next day to clean. On check out day, we’re granted late checkout (greatly appreciated) but housekeeping already knocking before time’s up. In the end, we ended past the time because my husband felt he need to start hauling things down but ended up spending more time loading in car and not being able to get back up since keycard lost elevator access. The hotel is in great location, very walkable to shops and attractions. There’s a nice playground not far of a walk too so my little one had a blast. The pool was also great, it’s a little cold and the hot tub is very hot. Front desks are way too friendly and smiley I felt uncomfortable lol. Room was spacious enough for us. I’m just disappointed, I requested a room facing Burdett ave because I thought I can let my kid people watch but found out Superior room’s balcony is not glass so she can’t really see anything other than birds flying by - my fault for not looking properly at photos. I should book a different type of suite next time. Overall it’s a great hotel and we’ll consider going back."

"Clean rooms, secure parking, and the refreshing cucumber water in the lobby was nice. Booked a room with a tub but received a shower, thankfully they were able to re-assign the room. First night was frustrating due to noise from room above. Unfortunately I was also given a room facing the front street which was busy and noisy with construction noise starting very early in the morning. Comfy beds. But for $1100 for 2 nights I expected far more ‘wow’. Overpriced IMO compared to other similar hotels in the area, especially given the construction. Prices should reflect the lack of peace during the active development. "

"We had the best time with the Magnolia. My wife and I stayed in Victoria for our anniversary, and had the best time. The Magnolia and the staff made it memorable and will get us as repeat patrons. "
