"Island Trader" is an oceanfront pool home with magnificent views that sleeps 6 with three bedrooms and two baths. Enjoy relaxing under the tiki hut, lounging in the heated pool, sunbathing on the deck, or grilling your fresh catch of the day as you look out over the Atlantic Ocean. This home is conveniently located just minutes from the Vaca Cut so you have easy access to either the Atlantic or the Gulf. There is also plenty of dockage with freshwater washdown, large fish cleaning table, plenty of outdoor lighting, and freshwater rinse down shower with hot and cold water.

Island Trader is located in the heart of Marathon, and it is within walking distance to restaurants, dive shops, bait and tackle, and shopping.

Wake up to the best view in the Keys as every bedroom has an ocean view. Other amenities includes plenty of shaded parking for your vehicles and trailer, large HDTV in the living room, tvs in every bedroom, wireless hi-speed internet, full kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances, central a/c, and washer/dryer, kayaks and bikes.

Great house for a family getaway!

Very nice house. Comfortably fit 6 adults. It was nice being right on the water and the saltwater pool was great. Easy access to lots of restaurants and Sombrero Beach. Close enough to Key West for day trips. Greatly enjoyed our stay.

Great vacation! Close to stores, restaurants, fishing, and other stores. Relax in the quiet neighborhood with fantastic views of the gulf! Heated pool was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Awesome vacation

What a perfect place to stay! Waterfront, pool, tiki hut and fishing right off the sea walll. House was very well stocked for making meals or very convenient to excellent restaurants. Definitely would come back.

Best trip to the Florida Keys we have had!!!!

Everything was spotless and clean, had everything we needed. We have been coming to the Keys for years now and this was by far the best placed we stayed. Everything was absolutely great. Had an amazing time! We will definitely be back next year! No problems what so ever!

Cozy,clean, great view

Property listed accurately and was very comfortable. The pool was warm, and the view was nice. The only suggestion we would include is that some accessories like beach chairs, a cooler, more beach towels and some hooks outside or a rack for wet clothes would be nice for those who enjoy the beach.

Perfect location

Everything was as described in the listing. The location and the view were just perfect. Fishing right from the property and the pool were great. The area was quiet but there’s very easy access to the main road and many wonderful restaurants in Marathon. Pharmacies and grocery stores are nearby. Loved the screened porch. Had coffee out there every morning. Would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect!

This property was perfect for my family. Excellent view of the ocean, and a nice pool to enjoy after coming back from a day of fishing. The gazebo was nice to enjoy the view while not cooking in the sun. Inside seemed new and clean. Would definitely visit here again.

Great house!

Our family of four stayed for a week and had a great time. The house has everything you need and it was impeccably clean. We rented a boat and kept it at the house- super convenient. We used the pool constantly. Would definitely recommend the house!

Thanksgiving week with family at this home was perfect! Location was excellent for fishing and close to stores. House had everything we needed. Only wished there was more utensils. Had plently of nice towels and pool towels and very comfortable beds. Tiki hut was great for our evening meals watching sunsets and morning coffee sunrises from our own backyard! Heated pool was a huge plus! Would stay again!

Great Property

We loved staying at this property! House is beautiful and clean just as the pictures showed! Beds were super comfortable and shower water pressure was superb. Kitchen was fully equipped and nearby Publix and Winn Dixie was a plus! Pool water temperature was refreshing… never to hot or cold. Fishing from sea wall was entertaining. Lots of fish, manatees, iguanas and birds! Would definitely stay here again!

Another Beautiful Stay

Had another wonderful stay in this beautiful home! House is beautifully decorated with everything you need. The water view is spectacular! The weather was extremely hot the week we were there and the pool was very refreshing. Other than the nesting pigeons under the home everything was perfect. Very close to shopping, restaurants and major Marathon attractions. Looking forward to next year already!

Never disappoints 😍

This is our 3rd year staying at the property. The home is clean and stocked. Beds and comfortable. The view is amazing with breathtaking sunsets. Close to area restaurants and stores. Grill available to cook at home. We will continue our yearly trip.

Everything is in working order at the house. Being completely honest, there is a moderate pigeon problem in the rafters outside the home, so much as the poop became a daily problem. Other than that...we love the view, plenty of towels...kitchen stocked well as we cooked every day. Would like to stay again...great location

Wonderful place to kick back and relax!

We came to celebrate our daughters college graduation and husbands retirement! It was everything we had hoped for. The house was spacious, clean, and updated. The beds were so comfortable! The pool was a must in the south Florida heat and the water views were stunning! There is a beautiful view from every window! We saw a manatee and sea turtle within reach of the sea wall. We will be back!

Spectacular view!

Our first time in Marathon. Great house, can’t beat the views! Location on the water is perfect. Spotted manatee next to the sea wall! Neighborhood is a little quirky, but on par with Keys vibe. Loved doing kayak tour through mangroves off Sombrero beach and visiting Crane Point. Island Fish Co had delicious key lime coladas and views of the water. Enjoyed bbq at Herbie’s and ice cream at Conch Custard. A great week!

Didn't want to leave

Our family had such a great time at this property. It was our first time in the Keys. We couldn't get enough of the views. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking at home. The neighborhood was quiet and safe to walk our dog. The pool was always the perfect temperature. We enjoyed fishing off the dock every day. We loved Curly's Coffee around the corner for our morning coffee fix. If you have kids, the Turtle Hospital was a great time. Key West was just about an hour drive for a nice day trip. Must try Lick It BBQ about 13 miles North. We highly recommend this property and can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Sunrise and Sunset

The home and pool are very clean. Comfortable beds. Quiet location. Beautiful view. You can see the sunrise and sunset. Pool was not too hot or cold, just right. Home was furnished with everything we needed. Great kitchen. Very nice washer and dryer. Many things to do on Marathon, toured the Turtle Hospital, rented a pontoon. Great places to eat - Burdines Waterfront, Lazy Days South. Great drinks at Sunset Grill. Host was easy to contact and quickly answered our questions. Our entire group would return to this property again.

Just book it!!

This house was in the perfect location. Close to boat ramp and marina to fill up gas in the boat. We left our boat in the water the entire time.. we did bring our own bumpers though. I was worried about the boat knocking into the sea wall from waves but the water was very calm from little to no waves. House was very clean and smelled clean! Beautiful house. Maintenance guy was there when we arrived and he was very nice. Having your own private pool is a must! We will be booking this house again!
