"The best parts were the staff and the Villas. The staff - specifically INIA and KOSO - as well as each and every staff member. Made us feel welcome, shared their live experience on Fiji (locals perspective), and remembered what we liked to eat. Also went out of their way to find us transportation to other parts of the island and to adventures we wanted to do. Every person said Bula each time our paths crossed on the property! We think Fijians are wonderful people based on our experience ! We stayed at one of the villas (numbers 101 to 108) that were in front of the pier, and that had its own pool in the front. What a great time! So glad we did this instead of staying in a standard hotel room. We watched the sun set each night, walked along the water to the restaurant 50 meters away, treaded the water near the pier when the tide was in… and played in the pool with our daughter! You will need to arrange for transportation to do adventures outside of First Landing, but they do have a boat that leaves the pier on the property for daily trips to MalaMala and 2 other islands - MUST DO adventures that extend the fun of your time in Fiji. "Great stay here for 9 nights. With a whole extended family. The 2bedroon garden bure was perfect, quiet, set back from the ocean pool (kids). Staff were so lovely, just be aware that the rooms only have mugs and cups no other utensils or crockery. Will definitely be back"

But this resort was great for a quiet start to our vacation. The villas were under a major renovation but even then the stay was nice."
