"One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. 5 star on everything"

"The location is very good, a short walk to a lovely local park (turn left out the front door) and to the Charles Bridge (turn right). We enjoyed the river view from our comfortable room. The shower set-up is a bit tricky as you have to step over the raised side of the bathtub. (Make sure you hold on to the grab bar!) Also the shower curtain doesn’t close completely. The breakfast was plentiful and continually being restocked. (Special mention to “Alina”.) The hotel offers a small “brunch” from noon to 4:00. (Small sandwiches, buns, soup, coffee.) We had a small issue in our room and it was repaired the following day. Where we feel that the hotel could improve is in the area of hospitality. The front desk rarely greets you and, overall, their standoffishness makes you feel that perhaps you were interrupting their day. I can’t remember the last time we encountered this lack of hospitality from the front desk of a hotel. "
