We only stayed a total of 1 day. Unfortunately, time was our limiting factor. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff were wonderful. We had a beautiful balcony to soak up the sea views. It was very walkable to the old town and had abundant and wonderful dining options at the front door. wish we had more time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spacious and had a great view over the ocean. There was so many breakfast options including gluten/ dairy free which was great. The pool and facilities were great and the beach is also right below the hotel. It was very quick and easy to get to from the bus station. Would recommend this hotel

Tranquility overlooking a busy beachfront
An excellent hotel on the Makarska riviera. We stayed in a superior suite with sea view, and the room was spacious, well appointed, well soundproofed and tranquil, with a superb view across the whole bay. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Despite my concerns over parking, we had space every day of our 1 week stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent...lots of choice and well presented. My only gripe was the fight for loungers by the pool each morning, which perhaps could be alleviated if the 'private' beach didn’t cost 10 euro per sunbed and was exclusively for hotel guests, since this wasn't the case. However, everything else about the hotel was great, including the indoor pool and gym, the check in and out process, and the hotel's location above the bustling seafront bars and restaurants a short walk from Makarska's marina and town centre.

Good location on beach in Makarska. Pool closed at 6pm the sun doesn’t set till after 8.30 and it’s over 30 deg each day this does not make sense in peak summer time. Also the pool water is too warm it’s like a spa. None of the pool fountains work. Staff stand around chatting at breakfast when they could lay out the pool deck chairs instead of watch guests take deck chairs of the pile and place around the pool. Staff overall need a course on hospitality. Niko was the only staff member that seemed to be working and also engaging with guests which was lovely to see. Will probably try a neighbouring property in future. Over priced for the service and facilities.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location . Room was clean and very generous in size and proportions . The only downsize is the accessing the pool deck lounges in the morning and if you don’t get to them before or right on 8.00am then your access will be zero. Also the prepayment of 20 euro for each beach towel is excessive . Other than that a good Orion if you are considering staying in this location . Breakfast choice is plentiful anc included in the price

Truly a great hotel with amazing staff. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with many options available. Servers work hard and are always on top of everything. Make sure to leave a tip in the tip box located by the exit of the dining room. Rooms very clean and comfortable. One thing I did not like is the fact that they charge for the beach chairs even if you are a hotel guest! We would definitely recommend Hotel Park to friends and family.

The hotel was easy to find, right on the promenade, clean and staff were friendly and helpful. We had a bottle of wine in the room on arrival and we had a suite from the VIP status on the hotel. I would reccomend and stay again.

The hotel was beautiful, breakfast was great and our room with balcony was wonderful. The location is perfect for dining and the beach in front of the hotel is one of the best sections of the beach in the area.

Great hotel and location
Hotel Park is a resort-style hotel in Makarska with a great location on the beach/water and is very close to all nearby restaurants and amenities. Breakfast was fantastic, the room was clean, and staff were helpful. Although parking facilities are limited in terms of available spaces, it was very easy to get in and out of the small lot. However, there are so many restaurants and other amenities near the hotel that a car probably is not necessary. Overall - a great hotel with no complaints or caveats!

This hotel is in a great location, in the middle of the promenade but only 4 minutes walk from the old town. Airy, spotlessly clean room with the quietist air conditioning! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We only ate breakfast there but there was a lot of choice. As the schools were going back , there was no shortage of sunbeds round the pool. We would love to go back there .

Modern hotel right next to the beach
The hotel is modern, clean and bright. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. We asked them a couple of questions regarding excursions we had booked. They were happy to pick the phone up and sort out our arrangements. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Also our room includes a kettle, fridge and safe. The breakfast buffet in the morning was wonderful. A vast choice of cooked items, breads, cold meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries, cereals and drinks. The hotel does have a sign about pool etiquette. Sadly this is ignored. Come 8am in the morning the pool area is awash with middle aged people reserving sun loungers with books and towels. They then disappear until late morning or in some cases afternoon. Sun loungers and space is limited so I don't think it is fair that people reserve 'their space' and disappear for half of day therefore forcing others away from the pool area. I think the hotel should have a more strict policy where as towels and belongings are removed after an hour of non attendance. It is the only blight on a lovely hotel and location.

My husband and I had a fantastic time here at the Park Hotel. The staff are very helpful and having the beach so close and the option of having a pool at your hotel was a bonus. Would recommend this hotel to all my friends. Thank you to all staff for making us feel very welcome, see you next year!!!

Over-priced for what you get
Expected more for the amount we paid. Air conditioner in room didn't work. Fridge in room didn't work. Have to pay extra for access to the gym. Pool on terrace is small. Front desk staff were friendly though and gave us good recommendations for restaurants. Breakfast also very good.
