"Would highly recommend this hotel for a very comfortable well appointed room combined with a high quality and very popular food option at the adjoining pub. We had breakfast on 3 mornings and ate at the pub on 3 nights and every meal was tasty, good value and never disappointed.Superb food throughout and very friendly and attentive staff. Do not hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed "

"While visiting nearby family, we only needed a place to sleep, shower and use as spot to keep our luggage. All of our needs were met. It is directly behind the high street, with the local pubs, tea shop, restaurants and shops a brief walk away. The host was very friendly and accommodating. There is an interesting history to the property, making it a charming place to stay."
