"Nice simple affordable hotel in the middle of Mamallapuram’s main attractions. The hotel is basic but has great rooms with fantastic pool area.
Restaurant is ok but there are better options outside the hotel."
"This is probably the best accommodation we saw in the town itself. It was brightly lit and easy to find. The streets around the hotel are dirty but probablly no more dirty than anywhere in India. I cant blame the hotel for thet. The staff here are very helpful and courteous. I enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to reccomend it to anyone. There are a few nice restaurants next to the hotel where you can get a beer and some wine."
"Like: Location walkable into town and the rock carvings. On a large plot running down to the sea and huge pool. Cottage was spacious with view over golf course to the sea. Staff friendly and helpful. Large comfortable bed.
Dislike: Sunbeds need renewing. 2 of stairs into pool broken. Litter not cleared away.No chairs/ sun beds on the beach and unfinished buildings next to the beach. Resort needs some TLC which may have started as lobby area being renovated."
"Everything at hotel was gr8...only disappointment was mosquito attack in the night...though they provided the mosquito repellant mat but dat was not effective...the room, view, cleanliness and the staff was very nice...even the comlimentary breakfast was okay."
"Would have given excellent all round if they werent upgrading the a/c dining room which meant meals were served in the outdoor cafe which was full of flies. They did their best and gave us room service. Pool was excellent"
"InDeco is an amazing idea--- half local history half a beautiful social experiment to help people and animals. This property is not as fabulously interesting as the original InDeco at Swamimalai although fun and funky, and the food is superior. The location-- within seeing distance of the Shore Temple-- can't be beat for seeing the Pallava monuments in Mamalapuram/ Mahabalipuram. "

"The Staff at Trident hotel Chennai love their job. I found them all courteous, helpful and very willing to answer all my questions. This was my first visit to Chennai this April 2024. I stayed between 04/24 -04/28. During this time the hotel Concierge recommended me to the best tourist sights including shopping areas. This is an establishment where the employees love their job and give their very best to their guests. Thank you to everybody at Trident who made my first visit to Chennai a beautiful experience !!"
"Throughout our stay, the staff were all so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Great variety of options for breakfast and we didn’t have one bad meal when we ate in any of the restaurants. Would also highly recommend the Winchester bar for a drink. "
