Great location, great apartment

The location is great - near museums but in a neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and cafes. Easy to work with and get in. Nice accomodations.

Lovely apartment in Madrid

A lovely and quiet apartment in Madrid, close to the main Atocha train station and Retiro park. Exactly as presented in the listing; no street noise; and easy communication with the hosts. Highly recommended.

Perfect Location

Cute apartment. Great location. Everything you need for a stay in Madrid. We were able to walk everywhere but the metro station is less than a block away. Great experience.

Walkable, tons of food and attractions

Great private apartment for two with everything we needed for the week. Walkable within 20 minutes to many great attractions and 5 minutes to a huge variety of restaurants, metro stop, and 24-hour grocery store. Hosts were very accommodating to our arrival time and met us on site to explain check out, appliances, etc. Would absolutely recommend!

Excellent location on a ground floor with zero street noise. Usual apartment block dwelling noises, but ok. Very clean and comfortable with everything necessary. Tight space in bedroom and toilet as per pictures, but bed is super comfortable. Location is amazing.

Hidden Gem

The place was really cozy and well maintained. The little patio was nice. The apartment has everything needed to have a good stay. Communication was easy with the owner.It also has access to supermarket, bakery, and the train station in walking distance. We also walked to the major tourist point. Great place to stay.

Great location in Madrid

Property is located close to Atocha station and Metro which was key for us since we were traveling throughout Spain. The apt is located near a lot of great restaurants and is very lively. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Madrid.

Stylish Apartment and Fun Location

We enjoyed this apartment and being able to walk to cafes and restaurants. It is decorated very cute with patio for fresh air. Great kitchen with washing machine and everything you need! The bedroom is small but it’s only for sleeping and Madrid is for having fun! Hans was a great host and very helpful.

Wonderful place!

This was perfect for my week in Madrid! Great location near the train station, Metro, and the Reina Sofia. Super cute apartment with everything I needed, I was on my own but it would be super comfortable for 2.

Efficient

The apartment is very efficient and had everything we needed. Valentina was responsive and prompt and in the end helped us getting a taxi for our departure date. She is the perfect property manager.Location was perfect for our Museum tour and the exploration of the old center.

Incredible Stay

Perfect location! Especially for the amount per night. Plenty of good restaurants and bars right around the corner and all walking distance to billet trains stations and attractions. I highly recommend also Hans is a great guest. Also a plus to have your own back area for breakfast outside and for drying clothes. Also Madrid was my favorite city compared to Toledo, Barcelona, and Spain. Can not recommend anymore than this spot. Also forgot to mention great air conditioning.

Perfect Location

Hans and Valentina were great hosts. Check in was easy. Location was perfect for us. Close to the museums and Retiro Park. The Palace and Plaza Mayor were about 25-30 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Wonderful location

The place is nice and clean. It is in a safe area close to attractions such as Prado, nice cafes, coffee pastry shop, grocery store, and metro stops plus Atocha train station. We would recommend wash cloths and more towels and pillows please. However, it is a very nice stay and very affordable.

Valentina was very thorough with the instructions for the flat. She answered all of our questions promptly.The property was well kept and sufficiently supplied.We found plenty of places to eat in the area. A couple of recommended bakeries were close and we also found a favorite place for coffee.

Convenient, cozy, and quiet

My 2nd time at this property because: clean, well-equipped and close to Metro, 24 hour supermarket, downtown shopping and theater. There are tons of nearby restaurants and bars but I self catered and the kitchen had everything. I would say this is ideal for one person. Two would be a tight fit.

Super chic cute apartment

Valentina and Hans were amazing hosts to work with and very accomodating! Valentina explained everything perfectly when checking in and very responsive if we needed something during our stay. The apartment itself is the perfect size for a couple to stay and enjoy your time and have a more comfortable experience. The location is perfect. It is super quiet when you are inside. It is great walking to many little cafes and restaraunts and not far at all from Retiro Park area. I will definitley stay here again!

Great Space in a Great Are

The apartment was wonderful and looked just like the photographs. The hosts were great and very accommodating when they could be and were very communicative. They were pleasant to deal with and friendly. The neighborhood is great. You can walk to the heart of Madrid in 20 minutes or Walk five minutes to the metro & in 2 stops you’re there. I will definitely try to stay there again on my next visit to Madrid!

Everything about this apartment is great. It’s located in a residential (not touristy) neighborhood that’s within easily walking distance to major attractions. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants are nearby. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped and the hosts were fine. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

Cozy apartment near Atocha–Almudena station

Cute, cozy apartment surrounded by lots of bars/restaurants and small markets. Was only about a block from Reina Sofia museum and easy walking distance to the train station and other museums. We felt very secure here. While we were fine with it, the bathroom was a bit smaller than anticipated, so if you are really tall or claustrophobic, it might be an issue. Besides that, it was a great place in an old traditional building with lovely big windows overlooking a tiny private patio.

Great location and wonderful host!

I had the most wonderful stay in this apartment. Close to the metro and train station I had quick and easy access to everything and everywhere I wanted to go! The accommodations were so wonderful and I had everything I needed for my stay. There is a 24 hour market just a 4 minute walk directly across from the Lavapiés metro station. Communication with Hans was fantastic. Check in was easy and his daughter was so friendly! I loved it so much I ended up asking if I could stay for another night and luckily for me, the flat was available and I was able to extend. This place has everything you need for a stay in Madrid.

Convenient, spacious, well-equipped and quiet

This ground floor apartment is super quiet as it looks out into an air shaft rather than the street. It features a fully equipped kitchen, laundrt, etc. The shower was spacious compared to the usual in Madrid and there was plenty of warm water. The location is a few minutes walk from Lavapiés metro which is also where the supermarket is. You can walk to Reina Sofia museum and many other places (or just take the metro). It’s a busy neigjborhood with tons of restaurants but the apartment is completely silent. I will stay here again!

Old Madrid close to Pride/Indian food area

Everything about this stay was excellent. Close to cultural aspects of Madrid… we walked everywhere. Apartment perfect for our needs. Check in easy, extra supplies available including spices, toilet paper & paper towel. Some difficulties with Nescafé coffee machine.. owners came and fixed after we reached out. Cozy, loved the patio area. Close to subway ( although we didn’t use) close to grocery store, cafes & restaurants & unique shops.

4 night stay

I'd like to begin with the amazing communications and check in process of this property. We could not have asked for a smoother process and kinder hosts. The location is ideal for wherever you are walking or metroing to. It's a very ecclectic and diversified area with a variety of restaurants sure to fit most pallets. The street noise level, which was our worry, turned out not to be a problem. You are in an apartment though so you do hear other tenants in their daily goings on but it did not get in the way of a restful night sleep. We will return!!
