What a cute gem right in the centre! Our flat has been recently refurbished and is centrally located on a quiet semi-pedestrian street in the charming neighbourhood of Cortes.
The space
The apartment is located in the third floor (ground + 3 floors) of a walk up building (like most buildings in central Madrid, there is NO ELEVATOR. The apartment faces an internal patio, this ensuring no street noise during your night rest.
Guest access
The apartment is an open space studio , furniture and amenities are all new. It has:
*Bedroom with a queen sized (150 cm x 200 cm) bed, and closet.
*Living room with dining table for 4, sofa and a 30 inches TV.
*Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat: stove, microwave with grill, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, and more.
*Washing machine (with laundry soap provided!); there is no dryer, but there are lines that you can use.
*A bathroom with shower.
* Wi-Fi is also available; we know that’s essential! ;)
* Air conditioning
•No smoking in the apartment. In case of smoking, we will charge €100 as penalty.
One set of hand towel and shower towel per person per stay up to 7 nights will be provided. If more are required, there will be a charge of 10 € per set.A baby cot is available upon request with an extra cost of 15 €
Top end fresh linen and towels are provided, as well as an iron, hair dryer, etc. We also provide maps and information on Madrid.

Yikes...
There were many issues with our stay:
1. Construction noise: there is MAJOR construction going on next door. We were told the crews don't start until 10:00 AM but they started at 8:00 AM. Do not anticipate sleeping in during your stay or enjoying breakfast as it is too loud.
2. Plaster piles: We had to step over piles of plaster in the hallway as we were carrying our luggage into the place. The host never even said anything as we were checking in but I asked the host the next morning to clean it up as we were tripping over it and it was a hazard and we were told they were taken care of, but upon arriving home later that day, the plaster was just swept into piles and never actually cleaned up.
3. Coffee: There was no coffee in the house upon check in and the host promised they would deliver some later that night for the next morning. The coffee wasn't delivered until the second day in the late afternoon.
4. Linens: There was only one set of bath and dish towels provided for our four day stay.
5. Neighbors: After arriving home one night, we heard a loud knock on our door. We opened it and it was one of the neighbors across the way demanding us to be quiet. We are not partyers and were not speaking at an elevated level. In fact, I am surprised he could hear us over the Hookah Bar noise down the alley.
6. Shower drain: The drain cover was broken and would not stay covering the hole, causing you to trip and slip in the shower.
Very disappointing for our first stay in Madrid...

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at this Airbnb. Javi met us promptly for check in and gave us a map with landmarks, restaurants and cafes marked. The flat was cosy and very clean, with useful essentials such as towels, toiletries and an equipped kitchen. The location is amazing - right next to the museums and surrounded by great tapas bars. I would highly recommend this Airbnb!

This place is great! The pictures depict the place pretty well, but when you see it in person it is so much more charming and cute! My husband and I were in Madrid for 3 nights and this little place was just perfect for the two of us. The decor was lovely and the place was super clean. It was the perfect size! I really can't say enough about this place in Madrid. When we arrived we were greeted by Vanessa who showed us the place and helped us get acclimated with the space. She also gave us some good tips on what to do/eat while in Madrid. We loved the place. I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it!
