Very good hostal in the center of gran via. The room was small and didnt have an air conditioner as ir promise in the reserve, that was our major inconvenient. Instead this, the room was clean and well mainteined. The access to the building sometimes is unconfortable because we need to wait for someone to open the street access, but the young man was really attentive and everything ok. For a night scale in madrid is a perfect place.

We specifically booked a room that clearly advertised air conditioning (all their rooms - including standard - say the have it. Since this place uses an online check-in process with no front desk, I messaged management directly with proof of our booking. They flat-out refused to move us or fix it, claiming no other rooms were available. I emailed Expedia support, who responded quickly and handled it great. The second Expedia stepped in, a room with real AC suddenly opened up. To top it off, management’s excuse to Expedia was that their listing details are specific and I just found the AC "not very powerful." A ceiling fan is not "weak air conditioning"—it’s a ceiling fan. They will likely reply to this review claiming it's a misunderstanding or that their amenities are clearly stated. Don't fall for it. The original listing said AC, they refused to help until Expedia forced their hand, and then they tried to redefine what AC is to cover for it. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere that actually delivers what you pay for.

Functional accomodation

The hostal was convenient and well located. But the amenities offered wasnt complete. I reserve a room with air conditioner but it wasnt one in the room. I stay because only need rest for a few hours, but was disapointed by this issue. The room was very small but confortable and clean, if you need a quick stay its ok.

Worst night ever in any hotel booked on Expedia and I've booked a lot of them in the past 20 years. The room was small but I knew that. I booked it for it's location. I also booked it because it says Air Conditionned in the description. A must have in July in Madrid! This is false. There is only a ceiling fan, no air contionned. It was so hot, it was impossible to sleep. With the window opened, it was also just impossible to sleep because this part of the city is very noisy. I hope Expedia will ask the property to change their description of the rooms so that people know what they are to expect.

För det priset och hur centralt det var så har jag knappt något att klaga på. Det enda som drar ner det rejält är den tunna dörren. Man hör allt och alla som kommer och går. Så öronproppar lr lurar med ljudcancell är rekommenderat. Luftkonditionering finns, nära till matbutik, rent, nära till allt.

Excelente localização. Mas, os quartos são bem pequenininhos e ouve-se muito barulho do corredor e dos outros quartos. Outro ponto é que não há recepção e as chaves são virtuais e enviadas por e-mail depois de finalizado o check in. Então, batemos muito a cabeça para entrar. Não esperem cortesia e elegância se precisarem apertar o interfone. Essas não são qualidades do povo espanhol. Fora isso recomendo bastante pela localização.
