As many will do, I only planned one night in the town with the plan of an early rise the next morning to get up to MP itself.
It couldn't have turned out better. The hotel is in the same street as the bus ticket booth and the actual bus stop, so organising things was a breeze. Check in was seemless and one great point is that you may check out at approx. 5.00am to get into the morning bus queue, and the hotel will mind your bags and then deliver them to the train station for train departure...

Such friendly staff! Quick check in. Clean, recently renovated room. Great breakfast served from 5am to allow for early Machu Picchu visitors. Great amenities. Sad I didn’t have time to use the jacuzzi. Incredible central location too. Quiet at night.

A very beautiful hotel with excellent location. The location and ease alone access made it worth it. The hotel staff greeted us at the train station and helped us with our bus tickets and luggage. We received a room upgrade when we arrived, the room was well decorated and clean.
The restaurant was good and our lunch, dinner and breakfast were included. However the service in the restaurant was a bit slow.

We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel in a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the ruins. Simply beautiful. The hotel staff are very helpful and welcoming. Lindsay thank you for all your assistance and advice while we were there. We did some great trips on your recommendations. The hotel is only a shirt walk to the town square and about 20mins to railway station. Plenty of 'mototaxi if you dont want to walk. Breakfast at the hotel is plentiful and if your treking off early they will pack a boxed...

Alex saves the day! We had transfer arranged prior to arrival with another operator, but it was cancelled a day before. Alex managed to help us secure a transfer despite short notice. He also kindly helped kept our luggage when we head to Machu Picchu. The accommodation itself is charming, and the breakfast spread was pretty good.
