"Lots to do. We enjoyed the hot tub, the golf cart, and the fire pit. The neighborhood was quiet, scenic and the nearby playground, with a zip line, was a hit with our 10 year old grandson. The short drive to New Buffalo offered us the opportunity to enjoy local restaurants. The dunes, the hikes and the shore line were all enjoyed. And we have never seen so many wonderful deer. We had hoped to use the bikes in the garage, but did not have time. Would definitely select this house again."

"The location of the property was misleading from its pinned location on the map provided when we booked. It is nowhere near the pinned location. Rather than a 7 minute walk to the beach, it was actually 25 minutes in 90 heat. We received the actual address after the cancellation deadline. I grew up in this area, so it was very clear where the house was located according to VRBO’s map. Disappointing is an understatement, as this was intended to be a beach trip. It’s simply not located in a desirable neighborhood, as it’s pitched. We rented two golf carts (for 700), so we could park at an old neighbor’s house near the beach where the house was supposed to be situated. While the house is brand new, it’s not finished. There are no lights in the ground level bedroom. The screened-in porch has no door, so sitting on the outside furniture in the thick of the woods is not an option. The lumber to finish the deck is stacked and there are random loose screws you can easily step on. The upstairs, where 4 bedrooms are located, never cooled down enough to sleep, so they moved to the unfinished basement in order to rest. There’s no walkway or light to the coded basement door, which is the only way to access the house. No bath mats or rugs in bathrooms. The linens are bottom of the line quality, made of polyester, which makes sleeping in a hot house difficult. I contacted the host requesting a 700 refund and he responded that he’d be reaching out to Vrbo. No response since!"
