A great hotel with a good restaurant. Make sure to reseve your table becaus if it is busy you will have trouble finding a seat.

Great stay in Lyon. Hotel is located 50 meters from Train station and also the train that takes you to and from airport. Room was very spacious and comfortable. It was a hot weekend and the AC did not work almost at all but with the window open it was ok. Breakfast was very good but staff while Very friendly, was a little slow to keep area stocked. A parting gift of Pralines was a nice touch by the front desk. Overall would Definitely recommend.

Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful due to obvious excellent management. They went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and very quiet. The location was very good. We would not hesitate to stay there the next time visiting Lyon, or to recommend them to others.

Large and clean rooms and comfy bed
The room was surprisingly large in a nice way. The bed was king size and comfortable. The toilet and shower are separate which is a nice feature.

Very close to the main train station, good stay

World Cup Stay
Convenient place for us to stay next to the train station and trams for travel to the airport and the Lyon Stadium for the World Cup games. The room was clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and with foods to accommodate all tastes. Public transport of bus and tram to take you into the old town of Lyon which is a must. Also within walkable distance. We booked in for a further night, s bit pricey because of the demand for World Cup. Would definitely stay again if we return to Lyon.

Stayed here for 9 nights for UTMB. Everything is just steps away. Its a street away from the main street so a lot quieter. would give it a five star if it could have facilities like Laundry, Fridge, which are quite essential for a longer stay

Hotel was fine and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Both check in and check out were extremely efficient and easy . There is limited dining options in the immediate area but through no fault of the hotel . We chose to stay here because of its extremely convenient location to the the train station and were very happy with our choice!

Lovely hotel and staff
Very pleased with the hotel and its facilities, although both our children got burnt at the breakfast buffet so be cautious if you have young children with you.

Hotel was amazing. Lovely people and room was spacious and comfortable. Around a 30 minute walk from town centre but other transport is available. Lovely hotel, would stop again.

Lots of space. Great location right next to the station. Love the cold water machine at reception. Wish they had more toiletries in the rooms. Decor slightly dated. But a good decent choice.

Convenient and comfortable
Excellent hotel for a one night stopover en route by train. Right next to the railway station, but an easy 20 minutes walk to yhe old town. Staff pleasant and efficient, room very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. If you are doing a city break in Lyon, you might want to stay nearer the center of town, but for us this was perfecy

Room was very hot and had thermostat in room turned off. Hotel only has central HVAC and unable to control temp in the room. It was at least 80F. Had to leave windows open entire time and train station is right outside and it was very loud. Management told us maintenance would come to the room and they finally showed up after 3 days of complaining and told us there was nothing they could do. We also had issues with hotel key getting demagnetized every time we went up the elevator. Everyone else was having the same issues. They are going to fix it in one year! What a joke! It was typical French style where they don't care about anyone but themselves. The worst service ever! Never staying at a Mercure hotel again.
