"Loved the location and grounds, doing some work on property, some of cabanas and gazebos needed work. Great path to cliffs, and pathways great. Breakfast was great, lots of selection. Pools looked lovely. Part of facility ran out of water our 2nd night and part of next day, no coffee etc at breakfast or shower access. It did come back, but we were checking out. Loved the authentic feeling of it."

"We stayed in a bungalow at this campsite and it was great! It was quite hot during the day without aircon or a fan, but thankfully it cooled down quite a lot in the evenings so having a window open was fine. Seems like the bungalows have 2 sun loungers on each shaded balcony so having an afternoon snooze was also possible. There was a shop onsite which is very convenient. "After checking in and receiving directions to this apartment, the staff member admitted they had never been to this rental before and couldn’t give us better or more specific instructions. It took us a while to find and once we did, we couldn’t park at the building because the lot required a parking code we didn’t receive. No problem we were only passing through for one night so we parked at the lot behind it and carried our suitcases because rolling them wasn’t possible due to the streets...

Aldeia Azul

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fantastic stay at Aldeia Azul. The family apartment was beautifully renovated, modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The daily cleaning service was excellent and kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. The pool area was fantastic and perfect for relaxing. The location is ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet only a short drive from beautiful beaches, shops, and restaurants. We would highly recommend Aldeia Azul to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with great facilities and a convenient location. We will definitely be back again!"

Vila Luz

10/10 Excellent

"Vila Luz is a great family hotel. We stayed in the upper section which has an extremely heated pool. A bit warm when the temperature is over 30celsius, great when the temperature dropped to 20celcius. The bigger, lower pool is less heated and great when it's very hot. Everything was clean, and the breakfast buffet was good, and well stocked, if a little repetitive. The staff are very friendly and helfpul. The only issue we had was arriving after midnight, reception was closed. The staff had helpfully sent a message through Expedia explaining how to get my key for my room. But, due to the holiday being a package deal with Ryan Air, at no point was I informed it was an Expedia holiday in disguise and never got the message. Not the hotel's fault."

"The house was even better than expected - spacious and well-equipped. The outside space was very good with a reasonable sized pool. The location was also good with easy access to shops and restaurants.There were 6 of us there. ages ranging from 10 to 77, and there was lots of space if you wanted to be on your own. Perfect in every way.The only downside was the building work adjacent to the property which caused continual background noise. Whilst irritating it was not in itself a great problem but on one day the noise was intolerable with cement lorries coming and going all day and a machine pumping cement into the building. There was good communication with Neil, the owner, who was easy to deal with."

"Great place for a family vacation, in the heat the pool was very popular. Very good location, spacious bedrooms and common areas. The effective aircondition was very appreciated. The kitchen needs some maintenance, the gas top didn’t work very well. All frying pans need to be replaced, the teflon surface was very scratched (not very healthy)."
