"Our experience at Domescapes at Swinging Gate Winery in Sidmouth, Tasmania was nothing short of unforgettable. Two nights spent nestled amidst the picturesque vineyards & rolling hills of the Tamar Valley, our dome offered a perfect blend of luxury & adventure. Each day began with breathtaking views right from the comfort of our cosy bed & ended with a local Tassie wine under the stars—a complimentary bottle of one of Swinging Gates fabulous wines! The wine tasting experience on site was a delight, introducing us to the rich local flavours, & the delicious cheese platter provided was the perfect accompaniment that night as we sat on our dome deck, watching the sun set over the vines in front of our cosy firepit. The attention to detail in every aspect of the accommodation was impeccable – from the very comfortable bed to the thoughtful amenities. Every comfort was provided for! The location is ideal for exploring local wineries, going for a morning stroll amongst the vines, or simply relaxing in tranquillity. Breakfast was included (a short way away in the local towns). We chose Moon Lily Café in Beaconsfield & it didn’t disappoint. Special mention must go to Doug, who was not only friendly but incredibly welcoming, making us feel instantly at home with his warmth & wine making knowledge. If you’re after a unique glamping experience that captures the heart of Tasmania, Domescapes in Sidmouth is a must-visit. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, inspired! "

"What a beautiful little gem! So much care and attention has been put into curating this home away from home….. loved the record player and coffee and spa and treats and recliner chairs and kitchen cooking pots and pans and gluten free bread etc…..Just sorry we could not stay longer."

"What can I say about this stay that others haven't? It's simply stunning. The ocean/golf course/lighthouse/distant hill views are to die for.The house is beautifully presented, it is thoroughly modern with an abundance of viewing areas, seating, bedrooms, bathrooms, storage, great laundry with washer dryer, the list goes on. Wallabies may disturb your sleep at some point as may the sound of the ocean when the tide's in, so too the birds zipping in and out of the low bushes.The beach is literally a stones throw over next door's roof (no, don't do that!), out the front gate, 80 meter walk, you're there. Gently sloping sandy beach into the sparkly, shimmery water, where you may see a pod of black dolphins chasing whiting. Walk as far as you like up the beach or just sit and gaze, swim, paddle, skim pebbles, it's irrisistible.With Woolies 6 minutes down the road in George Town and a couple of IGA's, to stock up on your favourite food items, you don't need anything else, it's provided.This house is ideal for a large family or two families sharing, it's dual living with a small kitchen/family room with TV downstairs.It's the perfect getaway.
